Cali Drone Media

F.A.Q.

Answers to common questions about services, scheduling, and working with Cali Drone Media.

Cali Drone Media provides cinematic aerial media, real estate and land visuals, simple mapping and aerial documentation, and custom drone projects. Services are tailored to each project and begin with a consultation to define scope and deliverables.

All projects begin with a consultation. You can schedule a consultation through the booking page, where availability and next steps will be outlined.

After booking, project details such as location, scope, and timing are reviewed. If airspace authorization or planning is required, this is addressed in advance. Once details are confirmed, you’ll receive your service agreement along with next steps regarding scheduling, payment, and preparation.

Delivery timelines vary depending on project scope and editing needs. Most projects are delivered within 2–5 business days after capture. Expedited delivery may be available upon request and may include an additional fee. Estimated timelines are communicated before work begins.

Yes. Cali Drone Media operates under the FAA’s Part 107 Remote Pilot certification, which authorizes commercial drone operations in the United States and ensures compliance with airspace and safety regulations.

Cali Drone Media provides simple mapping and aerial documentation for visual reference and general planning purposes. These services do not replace licensed or detailed land surveying. Scope is always discussed during consultation to ensure alignment.

Yes. Many projects are custom by nature. Any special requests or unique needs can be discussed during the consultation to determine feasibility, scope, and pricing.

If severe weather or other uncontrollable conditions impact a scheduled flight, the project will be rescheduled at no additional cost when possible. Any technical issues or necessary changes are handled on a case-by-case basis to ensure a fair outcome.

Yes. Cali Drone Media works with clients throughout California. Projects outside Kern County may include additional travel fees, which are discussed during consultation.

A deposit may be required to secure certain bookings. Cancellations or reschedules made at least 48 hours in advance are eligible for a full deposit refund. Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable, though deposits may be applied to a future rescheduled project where applicable.

Refunds are available for eligible cancellations made within the stated cancellation window. Once editing has begun or media has been delivered, refunds are not available for completed work.

Indoor flights may be possible depending on space and conditions. When indoor drone flight is not appropriate, alternative capture methods may be discussed. Outdoor flights are weather-dependent and may be rescheduled for safety and quality.

Standard deliverables include edited media. Raw footage may be provided upon request and may include additional fees depending on file size, transfer method, and preparation time.
